Revisit your school days at a free exhibition that seeks to conjure nostalgia.
Photographs, newsletters and logbooks from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries will be amongst the resources on display from Lincs Inspire Archives and Grimsby Local History Library.
The exhibition will feature schools of Barcroft Street, Carr Lane, Lindsey, South Parade, Strand Street and Cleethorpes Girls’ Grammar, as well as many more.
Topics covered will include excursions, architecture, plays and pageants, schools at war, and prizes and punishments.
The exhibition takes place on Thursday December 21, 10am to 4pm at Grimsby Town Hall.
This is a part of our history that everyone can relate to. We have some wonderful items relating to local schools and I am sure that the exhibition will bring back memories for many people.
