Sport in Schools
With over ten years’ experience in developing sport in primary schools, Lincs Inspire’s sports development team offer a tailored package to suit your school, taking care of all lesson planning, delivering quality sports coaching and individual pupil assessments.
NEW Dance!
Calling all teachers!! Introduce some Latin, Rock and Roll, Disco and Social Dancing into your PE curriculum!
Our fantastic dance coaches can bring a brand new, fun and engaging session into your school.
We delivered the sessions across all the year groups at Scartho Junior Academy throughout the winter term of 2022-23 – the results were fantastic!
Lesson Planning
At the start of each term, lesson plans are sent to the P.E. coordinator and teacher. Our coaches ensure that everyone is happy with the plans, which are usually based on a six-week programme. Sessions include warm ups, main content, plenary, differentiation and cool downs. Each session plan is unique, accommodating any special requirements that your school may have, so that our sessions seamlessly integrate into your school’s values and ethos.
Our coaches are also happy to deliver classroom based sessions to cover anything from healthy eating, the human body, respiratory and circulatory system and basic anatomy.
We want to provide a sustainable service. Our sports coaches can work with teachers to give them the confidence they need to deliver P.E. themselves in the near future.
Individual Pupil Assessment
Throughout the term, children are individually assessed and progress is recorded using a red, amber and green format so that the children can be measured on their capabilities. Criteria vary each term and are progressive to encourage and challenge the children. Pupil Assessments detailing strengths and areas for improvements are collated for each individual’s school reports and can be used for Ofsted inspection.
Sports Days
We offer fantastic facilities at King George V Stadium and Bradley Football Development Centre to host your School Sports Day. We provide coaches to manage all the activities, usually taking place over a morning. We calculate all the scores and return to your school to present certificates and trophies. Traditional sports day events include:
Sprints | Relays | Egg and Spoon | Sack Races | Standing Long Jump | Javelin | Hurdles.
If you would prefer to use your own school facilities for your sports day we can work with you to plan, prepare and manage the activities.
