Congratulations to Lincs Inspire Member of the Month, Raymond Covell (49)
The much-loved member of Grimsby Leisure Centre is recognised for his caring and friendly nature, making the gym a more welcoming place.
“Raymond makes everyone happy!” remarked Fitness Supervisor Jenny Jones, who nominated him for the award.
“He’s super friendly, always smiling and he’ll talk to anyone. He brightens all our days, from the staff at reception to the other gym goers.” Jenny added.

Raymond attends the gym every Friday come rain or shine. He’s made friends with Shaun, Jeff and Dave – who enjoy each other’s company and support one another.
“I love exercising here!” Raymond exclaimed, “I enjoy walking on the treadmill and the weights machines, but the Ski Erg is my favourite. I love seeing the staff and my friends every week.”
“I didn’t expect to be awarded this [Member of the Month]. I think I’ll frame the certificate!” He added.
Massive congratulations to Raymond for achieving the award. Thank you for bringing such joy and positivity to our leisure centre.
