Attending the leisure centres
We ask all customers to have a Lincs Inspire card to use our gyms, classes and swimming pools. These are free to sign up for online and can be collected at site.
Our swimming policy is one adult supervising two children under the age of 8.
There are places where we allow customers to take photographs within our leisure centres. You must obtain a photograph pass from reception.
To give all our members the opportunity the attend activities, we ask that you:
Cancel a booking no less than 3 hours before the session start time to avoid a strike against your membership. A strike is issued when you:
- Make a late cancellation – a late cancellation is when you cancel your booking within three hours of the session start time. A late cancellation makes it harder for us to offer a vacant slot to other customers.
- Do not attend your activity
Three incidents of non-attendance or late cancellation, within a 30-day period, will result in a 7-day ban on bookings. These strikes can be viewed in the online membership account.
We understand that there will be rare occasions where a customer misses a booking and cannot contact us in advance and when an emergency arises it is not always possible to cancel a booking. Members can contact us to discuss these incidents.
Yes, these need to be booked in advance before you can use our gyms. Please call us on (01472) 323100.
A gym induction is £11.80 for pay as you go members. For subscription members the induction fee is included in your membership.

We would always recommend seeking medical advice from a professional before attending group exercise classes.
We have some exercise classes that are suitable for ages 14+ , most of our exercise classes are for adults. The Clubbercise class is for ages 13+.
Some of our gym instructors do take on clients for personal training. Browse the personal instructor display boards in our gyms that have contact details of our trainers, or speak to a member of our fitness team.
Gym opening hours for Cleethorpes, Grimsby and Immingham leisure centres vary by site.
We also have allocated junior gym session times in our gyms for ages 11+. There also times when junior members can use the gym when accompanied by an adult member.

Swimming Lessons
Our swimming programme starts with our parent and child lessons where babies from the age of 3 months are introduced to the water through fun games and songs. Weekly lessons see parents / carers enjoy quality time with the children in the water, where confidence quickly grows.
Once enrolled onto this swimming programme, the Discovery Duckling, Duckling and Puffin Award programme is followed.
We encourage children to start enjoying time in the water as young as possible. From the age of 3 years, children can begin the Learn to Swim Framework in Stage 1 daytime lessons and will enjoy lessons with our instructors without a parent being in the water with them. From the age of 4 years onwards, stages 2-10 are available as evening lessons.
That is dependent on age and capability. You will be asked questions on joining the swimming lessons, so we can make sure your child is in the best class for their needs. Your child will be preliminarily put into a class and will be assessed upon the first couple of sessions to establish whether they stay or move from that class. This process allows your child to be in the best class suited to their abilities.
Yes, we have a parent portal for you to keep up to date with your child’s progress throughout their lessons. Please make sure your email address is registered so we can send you a unique link for you to access this information. Speak to reception to enquire about registering for this service.
Please come prepared and ready for your lessons, with your:
- Lincs Inspire card
- Swimming cap
- Goggles – not essential but highly recommended
- Towel
- Progress card booklet
- £1 for lockers
We advise against any jewellery (this includes smart watches) in the swimming pool.
We please ask that any jewellery that could pose a catch hazard be removed or covered.
We sell costumes, goggles, swim caps and small towels at the reception.
That all depends on the child, every child is different. Each stage has a list of criteria that your child will need to hit at least three times in order for them to move up stages. Every child’s progression and abilities are different which means some children may be moved quicker or slower than others.
Each class is scheduled for 30 minutes, with no more than 5 minutes at the start of the lesson for administration and taking a register.
Please check our availability.
We operate a direct debit payment, debited on the 1st of every month.
Teachers are all trained to Swim England Level 2 and undergo frequent skills update and refresher courses.
