It’s all about celebrating women getting active in whatever way works for them — no pressure, no judgment, just movement that feels good.
Even more exciting? Our very own venue was chosen to feature in the official campaign!
Grimsby Leisure Centre provided the backdrop for one of the inspiring real-life stories being shared across the UK on billboards, on screens in the heart of cities, as well as more locally to reach communities across the country.
And that story belongs to Millie.
Millie continued to swim regularly at Grimsby Leisure Centre throughout her pregnancy, and her story shows just how powerful movement can be—especially when it’s done in a welcoming, supportive space.
Swimming is a fantastic way for women to stay active at any stage of life—but especially during pregnancy. It’s gentle on the joints, helps with circulation, and offers a sense of calm that’s hard to find elsewhere.
