Wellness Hub Flooring Works
23rd January 2025
An area within the Wellness Hub will soon undergo maintenance work. The flooring in Studio 1 (seated equipment), has unfortunately suffered water damage.
Before repairs can be made to this area, the flooring needs to be exposed and given time to dry out. This will cause disruption to services in the short term, along with some future disruption whilst the necessary work is carried out.
Please rest assured that we are working hard to keep this disruption to a minimum, and we endeavour to keep you fully updated as work progresses.
What you need to know
- On Friday, 31st January Studio 1 will be unavailable between 1pm and 5pm
- During this time, the chairs are being moved into the Relaxation Studio, the room opposite the corridor.
- The Chairs will be available for use from Saturday, 1st February, in their temporary home.
- Please continue to book your sessions, and our team will be available to support you, as normal.
- On Friday, 7th February between 1pm and 5pm, the Chairs in the Relaxation Studio will be unavailable. During this time, they are being moved back into their original space.
- Studio 1 will look a little different once you return as a stud wall will be in place allowing the flooring to continue to dry out. We will know more about how this may look once the initial works commence.
- We anticipate some noise disruption during this week, which we apologise for. We hope this unavoidable consequence will be kept to a minimum.
- Unfortunately, the recumbent equipment in this room will be unavailable from 1pm on Friday, 31st January until Saturday, 8th
- During this time, this room will be used for the seated equipment.
- We are sorry for this short disruption and hope that customers will still be able to continue to enjoy using the seated equipment.
- Bookings remain unaffected in this area. To help contain any dust from the works in Studio 1, a sheet will cover the archway between the two rooms.
- Our team will be available to support you as normal
- We anticipate some noise disruption, which we apologise for. We hope this unavoidable consequence will be kept to a minimum.

Future Works
This initial disruption is so that contractors can undertake exploratory work and prepare the flooring allowing it to dry out. Following this first phase of works we can then plan for future repairs. We will endeavour to continue to keep you well-informed as work progresses.
We appreciate this isn’t ideal and we thank you for your ongoing support and understanding.
