24 Hour Walking Football Challenge in Support of Prostate Cancer
A unique 24-hour walking football fundraising event will begin on Wednesday March 4, 9:30am at Bradley Football Development Centre, Grimsby, bringing together players of all ages to raise vital funds for prostate cancer during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
Hosted by North East Lincolnshire–based charitable trust Lincs Inspire, the event invites individuals and teams to take part in a continuous 24-hour programme of walking football, with all proceeds going directly towards prostate cancer causes.

The community-focused event is open to players of all abilities and ages. Walking football is designed to be accessible, making it an ideal way to encourage participation while supporting an important cause that affects thousands of men and families each year.
Grimsby-based local walking football teams Grimsby Ancient Mariners Walking Football Club and Grimsby Town Corinthians Walking Football Club have already pledged their support, helping to champion the event and encourage wider community involvement.
Bradley Football Development Centre’s café – The Fox in the Box – will keep players, spectators and supporters fuelled throughout the event, staying open for the entire walking football marathon.
This one-of-a-kind event has never been hosted before in the area. We hope it will become a landmark community fundraiser, bringing people together through sport while raising awareness of prostate cancer and the importance of early detection.
