Further information about membership payments

Sign up on or before 18th of month:

Payment of a pro rata payment on the day of joining. This is a payment for the remainder of the month meaning you can use your membership straight away.

You will also pay an enrolment fee of £25.

Your first monthly direct debit will be taken on the 1st of [next month].

Sign up after 18th of month:

Payment of a pro rata payment on the day of joining. This is a payment for the remainder of the month meaning you can use your membership straight away. In addition a full month’s payment for next month will be taken, as it is too late for us to set-up a direct debit in time for the 1st.

You will also pay an enrolment fee of £25.

Your first direct debit will be taken on the 1st of the month after next.

The 1st of every month is when your direct debit will be debited thereafter.

If you wish to cancel your membership, please either visit a leisure centre and complete a cancellation form. Or complete a form online at www.lincsinspire.com/cancel.

Leisure members who joined prior to 1st October 2024
(i.e. made a double DD payment)

If you cancel before the 18th of the month, you will not make any further payments and your membership will be terminated at the end of the following month.

If you request to cancel after the 18th of the month, next month’s direct debit will still be collected, and your membership will terminate at the end of the following month.

Leisure members who joined on or after 1st October 2024

If you cancel before the 18th of the month, you will not make any further payments, and your membership will be terminated on the last day of the month.

If you request to cancel after the 18th of the month, next month’s direct debit will still be collected, and your membership will terminate on the last day of next month.

The Direct Debit Guarantee

  • This Guarantee is offered by all banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits
  • If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit Lincs Inspire will notify you 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request Lincs Inspire to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of the request.
  • If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Lincs Inspire or your bank or building society you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society – If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Lincs Inspire asks you to.
  • You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
