Author Talk
The dressmaker from Grimsby whose heroism epitomised the spirit of the nation during The Second World War is to be the focus of an illuminating author talk.
Beryl Baxter served in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) during the Battle of Britain, the first major military campaign fought entirely by air forces.
The life of this brave and enterprising woman is to be recounted by author Stephen Wade, talking about his latest book ‘From the Battle of Britain to the Korean War’.
Stephen is a Leeds born biographer, social historian, and author of over fifty books across a variety of genres, including true crime, westerns, and poetry.
Join Stephen as he shares his vast writing experiences at Cleethorpes Library on Wednesday 8th November at 7pm.
