A free exhibition examining the history of St James’ Church and Grimsby’s Top Town. The display will include photographs, documents and artefacts relating to this historically important and much altered area of the town.

Visitors will have a chance to see items relating to the area’s shops, including Albert Gait’s stationery shop, Evington’s toy shop, and Chambers Stores. The exhibition will also examine the history of some of the area’s pubs, including The Black Swan, The White Hart, and The Marquis of Granby.
