Grimsby Central Library

We are sorry that Grimsby Central Library is currently closed.

The service is to be relocated as soon as possible. The closure follows the requirement for urgent repair works to the library.

The following libraries are open and we look forward to welcoming you.

Books can be returned to any of our three libraries listed below.

Any overdue books incurring a fine, borrowed from Grimsby Central Library, will be waived.

    Alexandra Road
    Open 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 1pm Saturday
  • Immingham Library
    Civic Centre on Pelham Road
    Open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm Saturday
  • Waltham Library
    High Street
    Open 8.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5.30pm Tuesday to Friday, and 9am to 1pm Saturday

Please note that library branches are closed on bank holidays.

Books can also be dropped off at the Municipal Offices, which is open Monday to Friday 8.45am until 4pm (excluding bank holidays).

Any overdue books incurring a fine, borrowed from Grimsby Central Library, will be waived.

One-to-one appointments to support people with online forms and other digital assistance are available at Cleethorpes Library – to book contact 01472 323650.

There is also an option for people to be helped over the phone.

Reading Groups, Children’s Activities, and History Sessions previously held at Grimsby Library are all temporarily cancelled. We apologise for this as we understand the importance of these social groups to our customers.
