Skate Ramps
Skate ramps and street art boards now open at King George V Stadium.
The facilities are designed to provide an outlet for both physical and creative energies and have received support from the Community Safety Fund, set up by the Police & Crime Commissioner for Humberside.
Urban Art Wall
Heavy duty panels around the two 5-a-side courts provide a great opportunity for ‘street art’, with artwork being designed by young people.
The initial street art emerging at the venue has been created by: Lyns, Hyro and Phil of HelloHipHop. There are also designs and artwork by young people under the guidance of Lynsey Powles.
Public Use
Lincs Inspire has designated these boards available to the public for aerosol art. The Code of Conduct is displayed at site and users will be required to follow this code.
Skate Ramps
Custom built skateboard ramps designed for both experienced and inexperienced skaters are free to use during the venue’s opening times, requiring users to register at the venue or online.
Public Use
All users of the facility must hold a Lincs Inspire card – free to register here – and the ramps will be available during opening hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 5pm – 9pm
- Friday: 5pm – 8pm
Skating is at your own risk and all users must adhere to the Code of Conduct in place, also displayed at site.
Code of Conduct
All users will are required to follow these Code of Conducts.
- Paint only on the boards and not the surrounding areas
- No offensive subject matter – including crude language or violent imagery
- Do not tag surrounding structures
- Respect other users of the boards and area
- Tidy up after yourself and dispose of spent cans
- DO NOT PAINT WHILST THE COURTS ARE IN USE FOR SPORTING ACTIVITIES
Please be advised that these boards are available to all, and as such your artwork will be painted over at some stage.
Painting is at your own risk and should be undertaken during daylight hours.

- This facility is used by both experienced and inexperienced skaters. Serious injury can result through this activity. SKATING IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

- Ramps are only to be used during venue public opening hours
- Exclusions will apply during special events
- Skateboards, scooters and inline skates only
- No personal ramps or rails are allowed
- Adult supervision required for any skaters under 8 years of age
- Ramps will be closed if raining or wet
- Respect other users of the ramps and area
- Help keep the area clean and dispose of all litter
- Know your own limits and skate within them
- Misuse of the ramps will result in exclusion
SAFETY EQUIPMENT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, INCLUDING HELMETS, KNEE PADS, ELBOW PADS, WRIST GUARDS AND APPROPRIATE FOOTWEAR.
