Remembering Humberside – Poetry Workshop
Event Description
Join us for a one-ff poetry workshop to coincide with the exhibition 'Remembering Humberside', which is on display at Cleethorpes Library throughout July and August.The workshop will explore your memories and feelings about Humberside through poetry. Using photographs from the exhibition, participants will create new poems thinking about the history of this once-county, its environments, stories and legacies.
It will be led by exhibition co-curator and York-based poet, Becca Drake, whose book Unstill Landscapes was Daljit Nagra's Poetry Extra Book-of-the-Month in 2025.
