Inclusive Olympics
Following the success of Team GB at the Paralympics, local people are offered a special opportunity to follow in the footsteps of their sporting heroes.
Inspiring Community
The Inclusive Olympics at Grimsby Health & Wellbeing Centre (original Grimsby Leisure Centre) will see people of all abilities compete for medals at a variety of adapted sports and activities.
Badminton, soft ball cricket, rebound trampoline, table cricket, football and many more are set to feature. Specialist adapted bikes will also be used as part of a collective challenge to cycle the five hundred miles from Grimsby to the home of this year’s Games in Paris.
The event will be hosted in partnership between Lincs Inspire, Care Plus Group, North East Lincolnshire Badminton Development Group and 2020 Community Sport C.I.C.
We’re really excited to be part of this special event. Taking part makes a huge difference to the lives of all the people who attend the weekly disability sports session at Grimsby Leisure Centre, helping to create community and inspire achievement.
