Open Art Exhibition
Lincs Inspire Libraries invite the public to view the Open Art Exhibition at Cleethorpes Library, exhibiting an array of art from talented local artists.
Celebrating local talent
Following the success of last year’s exhibition, local creatives were invited to enter the competition earlier this year.
Derek O’Connell, Library Development Manager and Panellist said: “We’ve been really impressed by the standard of art. There’s a real variety, with some also being inspired by the local area. Plenty of people have visited and voted for their favourite so far, come along and see for yourself!”
Cash prizes of £50 and £25 will be awarded to the winners of the panels vote and public votes respectively.
The exhibition is free to view from 3rd August to 30th September during library opening hours, when the Albert Room is available – visitors are politely asked to enquire at the front desk.
The exhibition is part of an Arts Council England funded grant. Over three years from July 2022, regional and national artists and authors have been entertaining audiences with an exciting creative programme thanks to the funding.
