Open Art Competition
Submit your creative work to our second Adult Open Art Competition and Exhibition.
About the Competition
Our last Open Art exhibition in 2023 was a resounding success, with many talented artists entering the competition and proudly exhibiting their work in a public gallery space.
We are now opening the competition up again to adults and invite artists to submit their work.
Artists can submit one or two pieces of 2D art each up to one metre by one metre in size. Deadline for submissions is 11th July 2024.
The exhibition takes place from 3rd August to 30th September in the Albert Room, Cleethorpes Library.
How to Submit Work
Any artist is eligible to enter. Please read the Terms and Conditions below and then complete an entry form available from a Lincs Inspire Library or email librarydevelopment@lincsinspire.com
Selection for the exhibition will be made by a panel of two judges and decisions will be made by 17th July. Successful artists will be notified and requested to bring their artwork to Cleethorpes Library between Monday 22nd to Thursday 25th July, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
There will be a public vote throughout the exhibition to determine the public’s own favourite artwork. There will be two cash prizes. The panel voted winner will receive £50 and the public vote winner will receive £25.
